Letter From Recruitment Chair
Dear Potential New Member,
My name is Tashia Mumm, and I am the Membership Director for Phi Mu. It is with the utmost excitement that I get to introduce you to the Zeta Gamma chapter of Phi Mu at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln! I am thrilled that you have expressed interest in Primary Recruitment of 2017. Exploring the Greek Community at UNL opens so many doors. My hope for you is to find your home away from home, the way Phi Mu has become my home. Recruitment can be an emotional week for many, but I am so thrilled to open our doors and share a glimpse of what life as a Phi Mu exemplifies.
It seems like yesterday that I walked into Phi Mu for the first time wondering where this journey of recruitment might take me but I’d soon realize this was the place where I belonged. If you feel scared, nervous, or slightly intimidated, then you’re experiencing the same emotions as I was. I promise you that this journey will soon overcome your fears and is something you will not regret. I was lucky enough to meet some of the most genuine and thoughtful women during this process and when you are in Phi Mu, you will as well. This chapter has allowed me to meet women who share many common interests, goals, and aspirations while forming lifetime bonds.
I hope that you enjoy your journey through Primary Recruitment and the time you spend in Phi Mu. We are thrilled to welcome each and every one of you in August!
Love in our Bond,
